Yesterday we covered two of the most prolific QB’s in the State of Washington in 4A star Jack Colletto and 3A stud Zach Borisch of Kamiakin. They both lead their teams into the Tacoma Dome. There are a couple of other premier QB’s we have covered this past year who made it to the Dome with their teams that we had a chance to work with at the NW Nine QB Event that was televised on Root Sports this past Summer.
Representing the 1A Royal Knights is Kaden Jenks. The 6’2″- 215 pound Senior who holds an offer form Weber State and is one of the very best QB’s in the Pacific NW this season. This dual-threat Qb can do it all and this is one guy who can hang with any one at any level. This kid was a stand out at the NW 9 and nearly one the event before placing in the top tier. Congrats to Kaden on the run he and his boys have had. They are from Royal City, WA between Moses Lake and Hanford and will take on their Nemesis and former State Champs Connell who are from the same region. These guys play big boy football out there!
Connor Johnson will lead the juggernaut that is Arch Bishop Murphy into the 2 A State Championship. This team was so good that rumors were that Chip Kelly would not agree to have the 49ers play them. The Wildcats had 4 or 5 forfeits by opponents this season which really hurt Johnson and some of the other recruits just due to lack of game film and stats. This is another tough 6’2″- 215 lb. star who also placed high in the ratings at the NW 9. Connor is a leader and superb athlete and will lead his undefeated band of behemoths against the Liberty Patriots who have won a title in the past at the Dome. This game will be a great one to watch and no doubt this Senior will get the biggest stage upon which to ply his trade! He is worthy of a serious look as well.
Best of luck to Kaden Jenks (Royal) and Connor Johnson (Archbishop Murphy) as they compete for a State Championship this Saturday! pic.twitter.com/aL451HcSBP
