For all of us prep football insiders we knew that the 2015 Quarterback Class out of the Pacific NW was going to be one for the ages. I mean it is so loaded with talent there could be 10 or more of these gunslingers that land offers and move on. Despite that fact we are finding that the Offensive Linemen in this 2015 group might surpass them in a wave of talent the likes of which we have not seen in a long time. We thought we would have a look at the top Offensive Linemen that have emerged this year so far in a group that is growing daily.
Now remember the Pacific Northwest has been known for decades for putting out top collegiate prospects. No position has that been more true then the big men who for years have been the hallmark of our regional brand of football. Here are some of the best in this class to watch as the season draws near.
If you are a college coach know this is the best list out there. Many of these athletes have a profile here at NWPR and you have access to the film, contact numbers, email, and more for every athlete and Coach we have listed here FREE OF CHARGE!
Top NW Offensive Linemen to Watch in 2015
Shane Lemieux- West Valley HS (WA)- 6’6”- 290 lbs – Committed – OREGON
Shane blew up after last season and became a hot recruit after the Mercer Island camp last year. At 6’6”- 290 lbs he is a monster finisher. He had 10 Majors before becoming so hot that he ended it with a commitment to the Oregon Ducks. More On Shane here!
Tristen Hoge – Highland (ID) – 6’4″- 285 lbs – Commited Notre Dame
This is the best Center in the US and that is really not in dispute in most camps. Tristen holds upwards of 20 offers and decided to play for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame a while back. If this guy gets his hands in you it is over. Period. A real star of the 2015 Class.
Trey Adams – Wenatchee HS – 6’7” – 275 lbs- Committed- UW
Trey was an early Husky commit this kid is special. He works hard and has the demeanor and attitude to go all the way. His long arms and mental toughness make him a formidable Tackle and his Senior year should put a cap on a brilliant High School Career!
Henry Roberts – Bellevue (WA) – 6’6”- 275 lbs – Decision coming soon
Henry holds tons of Majors and might just be the most complete big linemen in this amazing class. The 6-6, 255-pounder has offers from the entire PAC-12, along with Miami, Wisconsin, and now Michigan. What teams see in him is mobility and upside. Film and more on Henry here-
Calvin Throckmartin- Newport (WA) 6’6”- 280 lbs– Committed – Oregon
Calvin had offers on offers including schools like Michigan, Miami, Oregon, UW, and more before he pulled the trigger to become a Duck. Like the athletes listed above he is long, powerful, and can finish his blocks with decisiveness.
Blake Brandel – Central Catholic (OR) – 6’7” 255 lbs
Blake has offers from OSU, WSU, Colorado, and Nevada. Others will. He is that good. Great pass blocker and with this wide frame is a top tier recruit. Blake takes no plays off. More info on Blake here
Zion Dixon – Lake City HS (ID) – 6’4″- 290 lbs
Maybe the surprise stud of the off season so far is Zion Dixon. He came in and MVP’d the NWEFC in June and has had a nice camp tour. A kid this big and powerful who can move like this is not likely to go overlooked. As Center or Guard at the next level he can, in a word, be special. Check out Zion Dixon’s Film and info right here.
Riley Galant – Central Catholic (OR) – 6’6”- 280 lbs –
Can play interior linemen- powerful and loves to finish. Great run blocker – D-1 Guy for sure with offers from Montana and other D-1 AA coming in. Riley’s film and contact info is all right here.
Jared Hilbers – Beaverton (Or) – 6’7”- 275 lbs
We first covered this guy last year. He is a man among boys out there. High Upside! He raked in 8 offers in the last month including Utah State, Oregon State, WSU, and UNLV. His mass and proportions are legitimate and it appears he is just starting to rise into his skill set which has to be exciting for colleges to see!
Garrett Larson – Fruitland (ID) -6’5″- 255 lbs Committed Boise State
Garrett has had a nice High School Career in Idaho and was offered and committed to BSU early on. A solid blocker who fit the mold of a Bronco!
Levi Long – Sprague HS (OR) – 6’7” – 285 lbs
He was under the Radar but that is changing fast as he has a big camp schedule planned. He has landed two offers now. He is a D-1 Caliber kid that can bend and move and is a punisher too.
Majid Firoozi – O’DEA HS (WA) – 6’4″- 250 lbs
Majid is rising the ranks. He now holds 2 offers and more are coming in. Air Force Academy and UC Davis both have offered and several other schools are coming in on this young man who is tough as nails on the field. To catch up to Majid for Film and Phone Numbers and more check him out here!
Chris Schlichting – Mt Si (WA) – 6’4″- 260 lbs
Big Chris is nasty. This kid blew up the NWEFC camp and we feel he has a lot more left in the tank. Look for someone to grab him up out of Mt Si and have a winner on their hands. Montana is in on him. More offers will come!
Alex Neale – Eastside Catholic (WA) – 6’3”- 280 lbs-
Many feel Alex is the most technically sound Center on the West Coast. A MVP at man camps the kid is very hard to beat. He finally landed his first offers in Montana State, Portland State, and Idaho! Film, Phone Contact, and more right here!
Mason Manning – Capital (WA) – 6’5″- 255 lbs
We just covered this guy yesterday. Mason has very quick reaction and long arms. He landed EWU and will have IVY league options too with his 4.0 GPA. This is a really good athlete who is highly coach-able.
Will Fisher – Richland (WA) – 6’5”- 290 lbs
Will is a 3 year stud and his film proves he is a special interior linemen. He is working hard in the weight room and at camps to grab a shot at his first offer.
Riley Griffiths – Skyline (WA) – 6’4”- 265 lbs
Excellent Guard or Center at the next level. Riley has good feet and his football IQ is top tier. Look for him to help lead the Spartans this year and to gain interest as the season comes. More on Riley Here!
Brian Dahl – Gresham HS (OR) – 6’1″- 280 lbs
Brian is an all league kid and a fierce linemen. His technique is excellent and he balances his upper body to match his powerful legs. The kid is a student of the game and we have seen enough to know he can move up! Catch all of Brian’s info here-
TJ Salu – Central Catholic (OR) – Center- 6’2”- 270 lbs
Like Neale TJ is top tier in technique. He projects well into college at Center and has also shown up at the D-Line this off season as well. TJ has a huge motor and has showcased his ability enough up to this point to earn the respect of colleges who are getting closer to offering.
Jake Martin – Chiawana (WA) – 6’3″- 270 lbs
Jake is a very sound athlete and makes few mistakes. He is a State Champion, terrific leader, and has proven he has all the attributes of a great interior linemen. See Jake’s Film and more Here!
Jordan Barker- Bothell HS (WA) – 6’2″- 235 lbs-

Juan Noyola – Chiawana (WA) – 6’3″- 260 lbs –

Need to look at metro and one Westview\’s OL player that was Second Team all metro as a Jr, Ryan Giobetti. He\’s not on any of last year\’s top metro\’s DE highlight film. Yes on the smaller size of linemen at 6\’1-1/2\” 225lbs, but incredible technique, very athletic, team player and great character as a teammate. He will be moving to the blind side to protect Brisbee this year. Since he is not on this list, he should be on the best of rest and a young man to watch.
