Devin Culp TE of Gonzaga Prep HS in Spokane = signed his LOI in mid-December with the University of Washington. Truly one of the best football players I have seen in the east side of the state in my lifetime.

Connor Whitney FS of West Valley HS in Spokane = signed his LOI in mid-December with the University of Idaho. This is a great young man and I can’t wait to watch him compete in the Big Sky Conference.

Logan Kendall LB, FB, TE of Cheney HS in Cheney, Wa. . Logan has committed to the University of Idaho on 1/21/18. This guy is an absolutely brutalizing football player and a really great guy off the field. With his outstanding work ethic and commitment to the weight room, this guy is perfectly suited for big-time college football.

Sam Lockett DB/WR of Gonzaga Prep HS in Spokane.  Has offers from Montana State University, Portland State University, and Idaho State University. When I think of a Division 1 recruit I automatically think that player should impact the high school game in many facets. Well, this kid does just that. He is a dynamic player. Great size. Incredibly physical DB. Great coverage skills, plays the ball great. Could be a great Free Safety as well as a Cornerback.

Brandon Battle QB of West Valley HS in Yakima, Wa. signed his LOI in mid-December with Montana Tech University. This is a great young man and student and I wish him all the best as he starts his career at MTU.

Collin Sather WR of West Valley HS in Spokane = He has received a Preferred Walk-On Spot at the University of Idaho and he told me he is going to accept that offer and go to U. of Idaho. I think this is a great move for Sather and for U. of Idaho. Sather is the kind of guy who I could see working himself in to a scholarship after a couple years because he is coachable, he is a great work ethic and he will improve every day he is on campus and he will be a great citizen in the community.

Elijah Harris DE of Lake Roosevelt HS in Lake Roosevelt, Wa. Made his commitment to Eastern Oregon University in September. A big, tall rangy defensive end.

Nate Maltos WR/CB of Sunnyside HS in Sunnyside, Wa. = On 1/23/18 he received his first offer to Valley City State University in North Dakota to play football and run track. Which I am so pumped up for him that he finally received his first offer (IN TWO SPORTS). Has interest from Simon Fraser University and Concordia University Nebraska. This guy can flat out fly. If you are looking for a WR or DB with plenty of speed, this is your guy. Great kid and a hungry athlete who will make a college staff very happy if they sign him.

Josh Mendoza WR/DB of Richland HS in Richland, Wa. This dynamic two-way player has offers from Eastern Oregon University and College of Idaho. Josh has some legitimate interest from Central Washington University (he had an in-home visit with there coaching staff).  His team went undefeated and won state 4A title. Josh is a GREAT player and a physical player. Josh will really hit a guy on defense and as a wide receiver he is a big playmaker for his team and produced often when his team needed him most in big games (see the Richland vs Bellevue game at beginning of the season). Josh is a GREAT kid and a great student.

Correy Quinn DE/WR of Central Valley HS in Spokane = Has offers from University of Sioux Falls and Simon Fraser University and Eastern Oregon University. He is also receiving legit interest from Eastern Washington University and Idaho State University. He is a great rush defensive end with speed who played on a state semifinalist team in 2017.

Orom Opiew OL of Mead HS in Spokane = Has an offer from Central Washington University. Is receiving interest from Idaho State University. This guy is a great O-Lineman who I think could really help a Big Sky Conference team.

Cade Jensen QB of Richland High School in Richland, Wa. Has offers from Simon Fraser University, Culver Stockton College, Dakota State University, Mayville State University, University of Redlands and University of Puget Sound. He also has official visits lined up at Eastern Oregon University and College of Idaho.  Cade tells us that Southern Oregon University contacted him last week and likes what they see in him. Cade’s team won the State of Washington Class 4A (largest classification in Washington) state title this past season. They went undefeated and were a VERY dominant team. He passed for 3,400 yards, 48 TD’s, 63% completion this past season.

Ryan Piper Safety/WR of Richland HS in Richland, Wa. = Has offers from Rocky Mountain College and Eastern Oregon University. His team went undefeated and won state 4A title in 2017. Ryan is a really good, physical Free Safety and is a very good inside slot receiver as well. If you watch his highlight film he really can deliver a hit to a WR from the backend.

Jacobe Lee DL of Richland HS in Richland, Wa. = Has offers from Central Washington University, Rocky Mountain College, Eastern Washington University. Has some legit interest from Washington State University, Portland State University, Idaho State University. His team went undefeated and won state 4A title in 2017. Jacobe is a completely dominating DL who I can see playing at the Big Sky Conference and being a contributor.

Parker McCary RB/LB of Richland HS in Richland, Wa. = Has offers from the Air Force Academy and Rocky Mountain College. He tells me he is receiving interest from Portland State University and College of Idaho as well. His team went undefeated and won state 4A title (largest classification in Washington) in 2017.

Corbin Christensen WR of Royal City HS in Royal City, Wa. = Has offers from Simon Fraser University and Eastern Oregon University. A real quality WR from a great HS team that just won back to back State Titles.

Zak Donato QB/Safety of Selah HS in Selah, Wa. = Has interest from Eastern Oregon University and he took a visit to EOU yesterday 1/23/18.  and Concordia University Nebraska. This guy is a great two-way player who can help a college team on either side of the ball. He is a great basketball player too. Total winner. Great kid and a GREAT student.

Jayboc Garcia WR of LaSalle HS in Yakima, Wa. = Has interest from College of The Desert Junior College in Palm Desert California and Concordia University Nebraska. This kid is an under the radar player who could be a very good asset to a college football team. He is a really tough kid, has good speed, is a good athlete and is a GREAT leader and a VERY coachable kid.

Cole Hinrichs QB of Cheney HS in Cheney, Wa. Has offers from University of Puget Sound, Ohio Northern University, Hiram College.
