He was a little banged up at the NW Stars Camp but Adam Mydland, linebacker from Nooksack Valley HS in Washington, came in and made his presence known. The 6’2.5″ and 240 lb freight train was a specimen physically as advertised and despite some pulled back muscles he looked very good. Adam had played in the last full contact game in the US 2015 season for Team USA in a bowl game down in Texas and was a team captain there just destroying competition in his effort.
He has the frame and overall package to play at most levels and has offers from D2, NAIA, and D3 schools. We were impressed and this full academic qualifier is going to have some decisions to make as he considers a JC 1 year appearance next season or moves on to the college of his choice! Either way it was great to see the small school talent who played far off the grid show up and make his presence known.
Here is our Interview with Adam Mydland and his HUDL highlights are right below that.
