Ahmad Rorie and David Crisp Spin A Family Success Story

The Clover Park Warriors out of Lakewood are the defending 2A State Champs and they are led by a terrific one-two punch of sophomore sensations in Ahmaad Rorie and David Crisp. The young juggernauts are cousins and have been hooping it up together for years. To keep the 2A crown in Lakewood the Warriors will have to do it without the
services of Crisp who just went down with a busted foot.

Clover Park is currently ranked #1 in the state at 19-4, with only one loss coming to a 2A opponent.

Last season the dynamic duo who helped guide the Warriors to the state title, we're both 1st team All-SPSL 2A selections following their fabulous freshman campaigns. The cheetah quick Rorie averaged 16.7 points a game last season, while the crafty Crisp hit for 13 points per ball game. Both young lightning bolts played some serious summer ball with their talented AAU squad, the Northwest Panthers.

So how are the super sophs doing this season you may ask?

Well before getting hurt, the do it all David Crisp was averaging 18.8 points a game. Crisp is a pure splicer and dicer.
He likes to drive and dish or take the rock to the rack.

The scoring machine Ahmaad Rorie is splashing the twines at 24.2 points a contest. Rorie is more of a straight up dead
eye shooting sensation. Both hardwood heroes are extremely quick and gifted with the ball in their hands.

Obviously the recruiting is starting to heat up for the services of both of these 6'0" guards. With Crisp out for the remainder of the playoffs the Warriors will have to turn to some other players to keep the ball rolling. Xavier Means, Dwayne Crawford and Isom Brown will need to step up their games for Clover Park to make another big run.
