AIR ONE FOOTBALL ACADEMY GROWS AND GROWS

One of the things that has really made this Winter and Spring special is seeing how many camps are opening up along the I-5 Corridor.  With the rise in the popularity of High School Football has come the rise is choices for kids and families looking to get the edge if you will in the off season.

Tired of the same old expensive camp options we are in a search for innovators and coaches who welcome all with open arms.  But we also are looking with a keen eye at the work product and the knowledge of what is being taught out there.  That search led us to Air One Football Academy.  For 5 weeks we have watched kids from as far away as Yakima and Seattle and Eugene come to the camp headed up by All American QB John Charles.

John has a staff par excellence and is the first camp owner who we have met that has voluntarily shown us background checks and resumes on himself and his staff.  Something parents are never offered but that they should be able to ask for.  Things are growing and getting bigger and we are trying to keep up with all of the kids regardless of their talent level.

The one thing that just keeps coming up is that they are all getting better and everyone there is welcomed.  It is a real family atmosphere and often times we find the younger kids, brothers and sisters of the big boys, are upstairs in their own training and fitness session while the parents socialize or gain photo footage of their kids.

The technology and drills have been awesome too as the drills change every week and often incorporate high tech tools like the NIke Strobe Vision Vapor Wear Goggles which the kids all got to try.  This amazing tool is great for QB's and receivers and they are so expensive it would be prohibitive for families to buy them.  At Air One they get to use them and the kids raved about the experience.  The glasses really work.

Using a strobe effect the glasses flicker between clear and opaque, removing visual information and forcing the brain to become more efficient with the information it receives.  This is smarter training that will help these kids stand out more then other kids.

The Air One Camp is on again Sunday and the outside field at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver is reserved so weather depending the footballs should be flying all over the field.  In case of inclement weather the camp has the indoor area  available too.

All the information you might need is at http://www.AirOneFootball.com and staff from Rivals.com and Washington and Oregon Preps are there every weekend to analyze kids, shoot film, take interviews, and just plan have some good old fun.

At $40 for a QB and one free back or receiver this is the best value in the Region at $20 a man for a terrific work out. Additional athletes are only $10 and sign ups are allowed at the door.
