Avery Strong Showcase February 9th Chance For All To Shine

Avery Strong Showcase February 9th Chance For All To Shine

There is one thing we have been clear on for years about camps.  The best camp you can every attend as a football recruit looking to make your way to college is camp any camp where College coaches and major media are in attendance.   That is always a great opportunity.  On Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at Monroe HS (WA)  dozens of college coaches and several major media outlets will drop in to see the best-unsigned Seniors and underclassmen in the Pacific NW compete.  The camp is unpadded and will follow the skills and drills format that has become the standard of all well-run camps.

Many of the top recruits in the Pacific Northwest for their respective classes will be Monroe HS (WA) Feb. 9th, 2019 for the Avery Strong Football Showcase.

Seniors, the coaches coming are able to offer you and based on past performances of the NW Stars camp, which was a predecessor to this camp, that will happen.  Signing period will be open and there are many of the NW top recruits who will be unsigned and looking for their chance to shine.  So get to the camp Seniors!

8th graders through Juniors are also invited to attend the camp and this is where many new faces and known rising stars will extend their image and profiles.  The many camps like this I have attended have taught me that I will find some of the best who will ever play the game before they were ever known before!  The chance to discover them is what gets us #MediaGuys Jazzed!

Parents I am always asked what events and camps there are to attend.  The Summer is loaded with events but right now this one is on my agenda and I will be there in force.  Look for me to be jumping all over the field with my camera and video gear.  I am joining several of the biggest media sites who will be there and the most influential man in the football media space; Mr. Brandon Huffman himself.

Brandon is the National Recruiting Editor for 247 sports and considered the top influencer in the online media space for High School to college football recruiting!  His daughter, Avery, is who the camp is named for and proceeds from the camp will be contributed to the AveryStrong Foundation to defeat DIPG. That is a terrible form of brain cancer that took Avery from the world at the tender age of 7.  Despite that devastating loss Brandon and his family took up the charge by founding the Avery Huffman Defeat DIPG Foundation.  This foundation has now become intertwined with the football community around the US and Avery is honored by every competitor, coach, and attendant at the camp!  This folks is an amazing connection!

I Hope to see you all at camp and meet you personally!  To get to Camp simply register at Avery Strong Showcase.

If you are coming to Tweet your attendance news with the #AveryStrongShowcase hashtag and I will follow you and retweet!  My goal is to watch and try and help all who attend the camp in any way that I can! You honor Avery and we will honor you!  That and the coaching and opportunity to be seen is outstanding and hard to find at a camp!

UPDATE:  A question arose if an athlete could attend more than one position.  The Camp staff is adding a new selection to provide a discount for 2 sessions at 65% off.  So check the website here for more info.

Hi Mr Knudson, my son is a 2020 kid who plays RB/LB as well as Rec/DB but hasn’t attended any camps like this before. Is one session in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and will there be opportunities for him to get reps on both sides of the ball? We’re also considering enrolling in both sessions if possible.

They have a package now for both camps. I think it is a good idea- love to see guys get as much exposure as they can!

Hello Mr. Knudsen. I too am interested in enrolling my athlete in both sessions. However, I clicked on your link but on their site I do not see any option for enrolling in both sessions for a discount. There is also no contact info for the camp organizers and no way to ask questions. Would you kindly check the link you posted and possibly update it, or post instructions If I am doing something wrong? Thank you for all you do for HS sports!

    Hi Mr. Knudson

I registered my son for the camp this Saturday. I received an email that my payment was processed but have not received anything else. How can I confirm that he has been registered.

Aloha, my son is enrolled in the camp. But is the event being held this weekend due to weather?

I have confirmed that the camp is going ahead. College coaches have already begun to travel. I am not running this event and have been told to be at the event which I have committed to cover. I have arranged vehicles and other accommodations to be up there and am planning to head up tomorrow accordingly. I believe the twitter and website will be updated tonight. I appreciate your concerns.
