Battleground QB Gunner Talkington Earns #4 Overall At NW 9

Battleground QB Gunner Talkington Earns #4 Overall At NW 9

He may be the lesser known of the top QB’s in the NW but Gunner Talkington of Battleground High School is as consistent as they come.  He posted 2,700 yards last season and 26 TD’s.  He has a “Never Wanna Loose” attitude and it showed at the Camp and last year as he tore up the GSHL.

We were impressed by his arm strength and release. Overall he may have the most consistent footwork and mechanics of the group of Top QB’s that camp to the NW 9 QB Camp sponsored by Boeing.  You will all get to see this young man work along with an inside look of the camp in Root Sports NW special show- Episode #1 this Thursday.  Make sure to tune in at 8:30 Pm to Root Sports NW to watch.

Talkington finished #4 overall and will earn offers to play college football.  That we do not doubt- if he was 6’2″ he would be a Pac 12 dandy.  We like him no matter what.  Go Behind The Helmet  with us as we interviewed Gunner and check out his Hudl Film below that!
