For Joel Skotte the outdoors has always been his favorite place to play. Growing up in a resort like Sunriver will do that to you. No wonder then that this terrific Mountain View High student took to football so well. And things are looking great for his shot at the Collegiate ranks.

The 6’2″, 225 pound linebacker has the rugged good looks of an All American John Wayne Cowboy type. He rides Horses and motor bikes, Snowboards, Water Skis, shoots, hunts, and everything in between. Oh yes he cliff dives too!

Reviewing his Facebook page is like looking at a Outdoors or X-Games Magazine.

“I love the life. It is how I was raised and what I know. We have a lot of fun here in Bend,” said the 3.8 student.

Skotte (pronounced Scott-E) plays football, hoops, and is a gifted Track and Field athlete. But it is on that big green rectangle that he shines best.
