Big News For NW Recruits

Big News For NW Recruits

This week we launched the new site, worked out the bugs, and started helping guys as always. We invited everyone to join us with a free community membership at our new site here and those that took up the call first this week are getting our love back in the form of coverage.  Each player listed below has a profile and our Thousands of readers and college coaches will now have access to them.  So click on a link below to see more about these guys.  If you want in the water is warm so jump in and make a profile for your shot at some coverage.

It took only a few hours from releasing our story about Marco Brewer saying he was bound for Pac 12 offers before he got one.  A coincidence but still rewarding.  Coach Mora from UCLA saw what he wanted in Brewer and offered him this week!

Massive O-Linemen Tyler Ganoung has made the move from Washington to the West Side of Portland and will finish out is High School career at Sunset High School in the always tough Metro League.  He has attracted some serious interest and the Big Sky seems to be about ready to pop on this talented kid.  Check his info here at our site!

Up in Bellingham, WA at Meridian High, super -fast rising star Qb Simon Burkett (6’3″-180 lbs) is gaining ground.  He is really shining through at the offseason events and is being trained by Taylor Barton and Jake Heaps.  Simon appears to be on track for some Spring offers so we caught up with him for a quote.

“Recruiting is ok!  A lot of interest from Eastern and Montana State. Invited to a ton of camps and a few other visits lined up,” said Burkett.  “I will be at May Madness after pitching a double-header and doing a work out for the NW 9.  So it is Busy!”

A little bit South of Simon we caught up to Robert Mason III of Graham-Kapowsin High.  This 2018 Wide Receiver is one of the guys we always have on our Top Performers lists when we see him.  the 6’1″- 180 lb deep target is fluid and smooth and has excellent routes.  We made the rounds with him to see what was on his radar and to get an update on his season last year, recruiting, his progress, and what his efforts are turning up.

“What I’m doing to stand out is attending all school workouts, lifting, working on technique and fundamentals and also doing really good in the classroom. I have interest from Cornell, Portland State, Eastern, Princeton. Last season stats were 55 receptions, 804 yards, 7 TDs. Received 2016 SPSL 2nd All-League, 2016 Team Offensive MVP. Our team lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The thing that stands out the most about me is my route running, press release and being able to get leverage on DBs. I also play varsity basketball. I average 17 pts per game and was named 2016 Team offensive MVP and 2016 athlete of the year for Graham HS basketball. My hobbies I like to spend time with family. What makes me the happiest is having my parents support me in school and sports!”

That is just 4 great NW Recruits. More stories are coming this week so stay tuned!
