The Barton 7 on 7 at Oregon State has brought out many of the state’s best athletes. One kid that has stood out week after week is Oregon’s #1 ranked tight end Bryson Sullivan (6-5 245 So. TE/DE). No matter where the ball is thrown he seems to come down with it. What’s scary is that Sullivan is only going to be a junior.
Sullivan and the Aloha Warriors are fresh off a state title where we all saw a historic turnaround from a program that spent almost three decades in the cellar of the Metro League. The state title run was Disney like and 3 highly recruited sophomores played a huge part. Sullivan was one of them and a two way starter shining on defense and earning all league honors.
He teamed with fellow Sophomores Thomas Tyner (6-0 210 RB So.) #1 overall ranking Oregon Preps Top 40 2013′, and Brayden Kearsley (6-5 270 OL So.) ranked #4 overall.
Sullivan’s #5 overall ranking gives the Warriors three of the state’s top 5 players for the class of 2013′.
Tyner was the first Sophomore to be named the Oregonian player of the year, and he is currently one of the most recruited players in the country with more verbal offers then anyone but he and his family know about.
Kearsley earned First Team all league honors, and First Team all state honors and has major D-1 schools drooling.
Sullivan’s athletic ability is off the charts for a big man. His speed and size are extremely unique for a kid so young. He played Varsity basketball as a 10th grader and continues to improve weekly as he trains with some of the best individuals around.
