Calvin Chandler was a legitimate threat both sides of the football this season. At Bellarmine Prep he was a 2 Way force for the Lions for 2 seasons and helped them make the final against Skyline at the Dome. He had a handful of offers coming into the Championship and now he has added a couple of more to his list of choices.
” I just recently received offers from Idaho and Princeton,” said Calvin. “Those are great choices to add to what I already have.”
The 6’2″- 220 pound Strong Safety and Wide Receiver is explosive and fundamentally sound. He is very well coached and has the ability to be an impact player at whatever College he chooses.
How are these two schools feeling in the mix that includes Army, Navy, Air Force, and Wyoming?
“Having option is such a blessing and its nice to know schools want me to play for them next year. Both of these new schools want me to play defense, either as an outside backer or a stack will linebacker. Idaho hired a new linebackers coach. That would be Coach Anderson from the UW and he came to my school the other day to let me know I had an offer from them. It was such a great feeling and I couldn’t be any more excited to go on my official visits in January,” he added.
Calvin will do a 3 week swing of his college choices in January and will wrap up the month by making his selection. Whoever he picks is getting a leader of a kid with a terrific GPA and talent on and off the field.
Congrats to Calvin Chandler.
