Coleton Collins Gains More Suitors As Film Update Showcases Skills

The small school kid we loved this past Summer at the NWEFC at Mercer Island has big talent.  Coleton Collins is  the 6’4″- 210 WR/H Back we are speaking about and he attends Lakeside High School in 9 Mile Falls, Washington which is a small school.  But there is nothing small about his talent.  Coleton had a nice Senior year and as the MVP of the biggest football camp in the NW he went against all the top talent.

Now that the season is over he has reported his stats and has some new film up.  You can see that below.  In addition he is gaining interest from a host of Division 2 and Division 1 2 A and has a nice financial package worked out with a quality D2 back East.

His Stats were:

  • 40 Catches for 700 yards;  17.5 yards per catch average
  • 15 Receiving TD’s-  1 TD for every 2.6 times he is thrown to
  • 43 rushes for 230 yards and 3 TD’s
  • 2 for 4 passing; 1 55 Yard TD Pass
  • 40 yard fumble recovery for a TD

Coleton is now hearing from several Big Sky Schools and schools like the UW and Colorado State and really can be a great add for any team.  Reminds us a lot of Cooper Kupp just a bit taller.  He is just one of the special kids still looking for the perfect fit in 2014.
