In a continuation of coverage on top athletes we saw at the NW STARS CAMP we turn to Brady Kelly of Curtis High School in Tacoma, Washington. Kelly looked great at camp showcasing nice mobility and reaction time as the drills and 1-1 battles began. His Junior year film provided us with a great look at what a 6’2″- 220 linebacker in pads can do!
Overall his 4.75 40 speed shows up and he showcased a nice blend of power and quickness. Brady does a great job in the middle as well as on the edge providing a fierce battle to any linemen or up-field blocker looking to move him off his path.
Probably the best thing about the film is that he clearly is a fundamental tackler; good hips and explosion at the point of contact and he wraps up and runs his feet very well. Most importantly he plays heads up football which is so crucial to any athlete wanting to survive in the game today.
Brady has a profile at PremierProspect.com and we embedded it below – click the picture to get all of Brady Kelly’s film, contact info, and more. He is one linebacker we will be watching closely as 2016 gets going.
