At 6’3″ and 205 lbs Sherwood Junior David Morris is one of the bigger guys on the field. It is his length and wide frame to go along with premier speed and agility that have us believing he is a Pac 12 athlete. It will take very little for a big time college to get this kid to 230 lbs and he has all the attributes of a great Outside Linebacker or Safety at the next level.
In Friday’s 35-30 win over Tigard the Bowmen moved to 3-0 and made a claim as a Top 5 team in State. This kid was a leader on both sides of the ball and can do it all. He will continue to be a force at Running Back and can line up wide and in the slot as well. He blocks up-field very well and we think is a force for that Wing T that Coach Grew Lawrence and crew coach all these kids to run to perfection.
We feel Morris was the player of the game as he had 11 carries for 162 yards and a TD and 10 tackles we counted and he was just everywhere on that field. He is also an emotional leader who shows his team mates his best attributes with his play. Here is our post game interview with David and we recommend any coach starting in on next years class be on this guy fast!
David Morris had a big game and is a difference maker. He is interviewed here!!

See almost 500 Pics from the Sherwood VS Tigard Game Right here
Best pics from the classic game I was at 35-30 Sherwood over Tigard in 2015. Why does there have to be a loser? I mean this game had it all and then some!
