This is going to be quite a game.
From our contributing partners at Statewide Stats the following Info is Available:
Thanks to Coach Alexander, we have the rosters for the 2013 Earl Barden Classic. This year’s game will take place at East Valley High School in Yakima on June 22 at 1:00PM. Jim Fisk of Cheweleah will be head coach of the East team, and Aaron Poquette of Morton/White Pass will coach the West.
A few additional notes on the game and selection process from Coach Alex:
- This is not an All-State team selected by the press, AP/UPI/etc. It is a team selected the Washington State Football Coaches Assoc with the number of players at certain positions to play a game.
- Nominee’s are selected by coaches at league meetings.
- Selection of teams by the coaching staff and 2 rep’s from each league, with no outside input, only reps)
- Each team is made of those who accept the selection. Some do not as they have other commitments, injuries, enrolled early, etc.
