Eastside Catholic Center Alex Neale Commits To Grizz

Last night one of the top offensive linemen in the State of Washington decided to commit to the mighty Montana Grizzlies.  Alex Neale of Eastside Catholic is one of our favorite kids and a young man with the highest skill set at center we have seen.  He is going to be a superb offensive linemen in the Big Sky and the Grizz are getting a great one in him.
We caught up to Alex and had him answer some questions about his big decision.
Alex Neale of Eastside Catholic landed his first D-1 Full ride on Fathers Day form Montana!

Alex Neale of Eastside Catholic landed his first D-1 Full ride on Fathers Day from Montana! Now he is committed-

1) Alex why did you select Montana and why did you commit now ?

I selected Montana because my parents and I both agreed it was the best fit of who I am as a person and as a player, and it just felt like the time to finally commit somewhere and have a place to go after senior year.

2) What is the best thing about the program at Montana?

The best thing about the program is the staff.  Coach Gragg (OL) and the rest of the coaching staff bring a lot of energy that’s required to win football games.  They are true down to earth guys that will make the college experience incredible!
3 ) What was the feeling like when you decided to commit after your recruitment took a while to get rolling?

Haha Man,  it was giant weight off my shoulders. The recruiting game is long and difficult on families including my own, so after finally making a decision we could finally sit back and breathe.

4) Alex what we’re some of the keys to making it as a college recruit ?

Some advice I could give as a recruit is go to every thing you can that you can afford such as camps, combines, those kind of things so you’re not only used to the setting but also you showcase yourself.  Also you have to work your butt off everyday to become better not only in your ability to play but also your character because if college is recruiting you and other player for one position and you both are equally good at the game, the one with the better character is the one that will get the scholarship in the end.
5) How are you feeling now that we are getting close to the start of a new year ?

I’m feeling great! I couldn’t be more excited to go out on the field one last time with my guys that I’ve bonded with over the years and hopefully make “3rd times the charm” and reality in State.
