Grimes, Eason, Krenz Follow Lines Lead To Tacoma Dome

The Lake Stevens Vikings are going to the Tacoma Dome for the first time since 2011 and they got that shot after beating a very good Graham-Kapowsin team 49-14 this weekend.  By now everyone has heard about the amazing Lake Stevens Qb Jacob Eason; what he does is next level.  The Georgia bound commit was on his game using the laser guided canon he calls an arm to pick apart the GK secondary.  The 6’4″ Eason was 17/27 for 262 yards and 4 TD’s.

Two of this TD’s were to NWPR Top 200 Receiver Riley Krenz.  He had 5 Catches for 113 yards and 2 TD’s and continues to prove he is a top tier commit.

Now that air assault laid the ground work for the win but the power in this one came from the offensive line who was reacting to some local media that had said the GK was going to win that battle up front.  Behind them Senior Running Back Andrew Grimes went off for 280 yards and 3 TD’s.  Grimes has also been on the NWPR ALL NW TOP 200 list and is a recruit of note this season as well.  What a game he had and the Vikings will need that to continue on past a loaded Skyline squad.

The trip to the Dome next week will be Eason’s first time at the Big  show and it should be pretty special.  We will continue to cover all the Top Recruits weekly so send in your story suggestions and we will try our best to cover them!  Email dirkknudsen@gmail.com with your player or team shout outs!
