Harrison Greenberg was our All State Kicker and is on the verge of some big things.

Lake Oswego’s magical run to their first State Championship would not have been possible without the booming leg ofHarrison Greenberg. The kid can really pound the ball.

His stats included an average kickoff of 64.5 yards, an incredible hang time, and 85 out of 89 PATS Made. He is also a very good FG Kicker but rarely got the chance at LO who rolled through the season.

His size and 4.59 speed make him a big help on the field as that crucial guy who might just need to make a big stop beyond his kicking duties.

So this week and he continues his quest to find a home in college he will have some in home meetings with Montana and PSU. Kickers are normally not given scholarships but rather earn their way through a preferred walk on.

“I had a good conversation with Coach Arbuckle at the University of Montana. He explained that this year they are not planning on offering a scholarship to a a kicker until they know who is the starter,” said Greenberg as we interviewed him last month.

“They have offered me a preferred walk-on spot and they expect me to start. The starting kicker is graduating, and there is one other kicker on the roster who red-shirted.”

Montana State has extended the same package to him but he is feeling the love at Montana a bit more he tells OregonPreps.com.

Portland State would be closing out their amazing recruiting class in a big way if they could pull the Laker and we may see him at Jeld Wen Field after all.

This is a great kid with a huge leg. If your looking for a kicker who can compete with the best of them Harrison Greenberg just might be your guy!
