The handful of us that cover Eastern Washington in depth have known of his acumen and skill.  And this Spring, especially after his performance in LA, Jake Gall is starting his rise.  The youngster from Cle-Elum is a specimen.  His accolades have been sung for sure but only a few like WashingtonPreps.com have paid attention.

But this kid who is capable of beating the best at any level is soon no longer going to need any introductions.  Jake blew up the NUC Los Angeles event.  He ran routes deep, inside, outside, stop and go, and everything in between and he was leaving defenders, including the best LA had to offer, raising their hands to the sky in question or prayer. We are not sure which.

Jake is 6'1" and about 210 pounds right now.  As a RB he will will sit at the upper tier of any kid in the Pacific Northwest.  He can run guys over with his power and 4.5 speed and out of play action can be a very dangerous weapon when his team needs to stretch the field out.  He can certainly play Safety or OLB as well.

The demeanor is there to succeed.  His grades are top tier.  The kid is a tireless worker and truly has dominated almost anywhere he has gone. But the film below shot yesterday has to be considered his break through moment.  No way Coaches miss on this and we are happy to bring this to you first.  Maybe Jake has not been dubbed "elite" which seems to be a hot thing right now.  But knowing Jake and his family it is clear that is not his objective.  He wants to be graded by his work and not a word that someone tries to bestow upon him.

Coaches pay attention.  This Eastern Washington gem may play for a small school but there is no way his talent can be denied or overlooked.  Gall fits perfectly into a team like Boise State and could play either side of the ball at that level.

Tomorrow he meets with Jim Mora and his staff at a Campus visit.  Today it is the Nike Football Training Camp where a repeat performance like the one we are showcasing below can cement his standing at the top tier.

Jake Gall is for real and his big moment came and he took it on and conquered it.
