Sheldon and Jesuit Talent Reviewed: Coaches Wish List

We just ran a a story about the top talent that is available in the State of Oregon as the playoffs and Championships go on.  We looked at Lake Oswego and Central Catholic in the first article that we ran right nere.  Now we break down the Seniors and some outstanding Juniors at Sheldon and at Jesuit.  And boy these teams are loaded.

Here is a link to part one:  Lake Oswego and Central Catholic.

Here is a look at some of the best of Sheldon and Jesuit.

Sheldon

  • Dillon Miller:  We don’t care if he is not tall enough.  We really don’t .  Like Jordan Johnson before him and Brett Smith from West Salem last year he is way under the radar.  He is the class of the region.   How about 3200 yards and 36 TDs with only 3 picks?  That is D1 caliber all the way.
  • Sam McCaskill:  The 6’3″, 235 LB/De/TE is so talented.  He has 3 offers and we see more coming.  Can you say 13 sacks?  We thought you could.
  • Dawson Housely:  6’2″, 225 Pounds.  This is a tough kid.  LB all the way!  Big Sky offers on the table but he can get more. 120 tackles on the year!
  • Tanner Zent:  6’3″, 240 Pounds.  Zent is a hitter and a hybrid DT/LB/C/G who can do it all.  He is an All League guy at the D2 Level and we think deserves a D-1 AA offer.
  • Mitch Carman: Senior Wr with 850 Yards who is on his way to the Collegiate ranks with 9 TD’s and talent to boot.
  • Connor Strahm: JUNIOR:  1400 Yards receiving and 15 TD’s and 300 yards rushing.  A D-1 One man wrecking crew.  Can he be stopped at almost 6’2″, 205 pounds?  NO.
  • Kameron Canaday: 6’4″, 250 Pounds.  Lien and Mobile.  Montana wants him and PSU has offered and this kid has not even scratched the surface of what he can do.
  • Jacob Foutz:  6’4″, 270 Pounds Senior.  Big powerful kid who can play college ball.
  • Chet Spears: 6’2″, 300 pound DT / C  He has a nice upside.  Junior is a Beast!
  • Sean Bellotti:  Kicker.  Amazing talent and Sheldon’s best weapon possibly!
  • Ryan Land:  5’8″ 170 Pounds:  700 yards and 5 TDs in a great year where he has been stawart.
Jesuit
  • Morgan Sellers:  Senior RB: 900 Yards Rushing and he is only getting better. 8 TDs and as the season has gone on he is just getting better.
  • Nicholas Rothstein: SR QB/DB  3 Star Rivals Recruit.  He has 700 yards passing and 8 TDs and 1000 yards rushing and 10Tds.  So agile and athletic.  PSU Commit who could go higher.
  • Austin Griffin:  6’5″, 300 Pounds.  He is a beast. Good player.  Better kid!  EWU got a good one in him.
  • Adam Winterling:  WR.  6’4″, 205 pounds.  Wow what great size and hands.   700 yards and has averaged 22 yards per catch.  8 TDs and he has caught the majority of ball thrown his way.  Air Force is a perfect fit and they have offered but why not OSU?
  • AJ GLASS JUNIOR:  Hello?  2300 yards and 23 TDs with a 7 yard average and he is a Junior?  Ummm…. yah.  D-1 Guy.  Always the elite athlete wherever we are at!
  • Andrew Kirkland:  JUNIOR  6’5″, 286 Yards.  D-1 Athlete all the way and it is not even in question.    Fast, technique is there and a toughness you can not coach.
  • Christian Martinek:  6’3″, 205 Soph.- One to watch this weekend.  He is rising fast.  A great looking safety and possible OLB.  Skills are there.
  • Mike Ralston:  6’5″, 240 pounds TE:  Mike has a 38″ vert and is big!  Great hands.  Could Ken Potter have a D-1 TE here?  The answer is yes!
  • Doug Brenner:  6’2″, 260 Pounds FB/DT.  4 Star potential and he is turning up the heat.  A superior athlete who is able to dominate.  D-1 projection.
  • Max Rich:  6’7″, 250 Pounds: Junior.  Great Feet, Great Hands and athleticism.  He is a Collegiate coaches dream.
  • Dom Mori– 6’0″, 255 Center.  Senior.  A 4.0 student.  Ivy League or better player and the captain of this squad.
  • Robert Stryss: 6′ 190 pound Senior.  Great looking athlete can play Off or Def.
  • Drew Demarco:  Senior DB:  An athlete who can play collegiate ball.  He has a huge heart and the skill to go with it.  A leader at any level.
  • Dom Baldocci: Junior O Line.  Another legit collegiate player.  Athletic and good size.
All of these guys can and will play collegiate ball. These two teams could meet in the finals but to get there they both have to win tomorrow.
And both teams have more guys that deserve a mention too.  That is the testament to a great Program!
