Another young star we caught up with at the recent BFA Camp was Jesuit High School 2-way phenom Jordan Happle. The 6’1″- 180 lb Junior was watching from the sidelines still healing up from a broken ankle he sustained in the playoffs last season but he is out watching and preparing for his return.
In the 3 games we saw him play in Happle was the difference maker as Crusader QB Eric Restic and he teamed up for a virtual highlight reel making one big play after the next through the air. This was problematic for opposing teams who had lined up the troops to stop the heralded running attack so traditional to Jesuit led by Senior Chase Morrison and Junior Jason Talley.
When Happle was not making acrobatic Touchdown catches he was terrorizing opposing teams at the free safety spot. He had some game winning interceptions and stifled some of the State’s best QB’s. His nomination for All State both sides of the ball just legitimized his performances.
