Kahlil Dawson 2012 Film: Top DB/WR

Kahlil Dawson of Graham-Kapowsin High School is having as expected a big 2012. The 5’9″ 165 Pound DB / ATHLETE has been very effective this season helping his squad on both offense and defense. Not the biggest guy for a Corner Back he is big on skill.

Kahlil Dawson of Graham-Kapowsin High School is having as expected a big 2012.  The 5'9" 165 Pound DB / ATHLETE has been very effective this season helping his squad on both offense and defense.  Not the biggest guy for a Corner Back he is big on skill.

Portland State loved him enough to offer him a scholarship in the Summer and he verbally committed to them.  But that has not stopped others from courting him.  That is the way it is with Top Talent like Dawson.

"Even though I'm solid with Portland State I still here from other schools. I have the 3 comp tickets for all of UW, WSU and Oregon State home games if I choose to use them. I also hear from EWU, Montana and Idaho," said Dawson who seems unshaken and very comfortable to become a Viking next year.

On his size he offered, "I know some have questioned if I am big enough or whatever. I may not be the biggest or the fastest, but I feel that I can play with anybody."

People talk and he hears it but that is only motivation to push him even harder.

"I just want people to see that my size has never been a factor in my eyes," he said.

And he is right.  The kids film is legit both on offense and defense.
