Kentwood Goes Down In Play In But Not Without A Fight – A Look Back

The boys of Kentwood had a great season and was ranked #6 in the State of Washington going into Friday Nights battle with Arlington.  And many felt this was Kentwood's game hands down.  But Arlington was not having any of that and beat the Conquerors 21-14 to knock them out of the playoffs this season!

Arlington QB Skylor  Elgarico piled up 313 yards of total offense, including 202 passing.  He had 3 Touchdowns for Arlington which included a Pair of Touchdown passes to Austin Wells.

This was just one of those games where things did not go well and the Eagles who were 4-5 coming in went for that brass ring and got it.  This is why the playoffs are known as the "Second Season" where the blackboard gets erased and anything is possible.

Kentwood's terrific regular season was caught on film by our man James Kielland who has been widely recognized  for his innovative work in Video and Film.  In this Video you will see many of the best moments of the Conquerors season.  Best wishes to all of them and especially to the Seniors.  Thanks for all you guys gave to the football fans of the Pacific Northwest!

Arlington good luck next week versus Camas.  That is one tough squad.
