To be able to win the big games I don’t care who you are, you better have a serious threat in the backfield that can take that pill North and South. The more prolific the passing attacks get the greater the need to have that guy back there. Even if you never use him you better have him. The threat of a speed merchant must be present to freeze up those safeties and linebackers. Kings High School in Seattle, Washington had just the man for the job last season in 5’9″- 165 ;b Caleb Perry.
Caleb is a Junior and racked up 1,200 yards last season on the ground. He also started at Cornerback and by seasons end had been named 1st Team All League. That is quite an accomplishment for him.
Jim Shapiro, one of the most talented Head Coaches in the NW, rarely touts guys that don’t have the talent. He reached out to NWPR about Perry and a few other guys so we took it seriously and had a look at all of their film. Caleb makes moves in the 10 Play Super Highlight unlike almost anyone we have seen in a while. He can adjust his footwork, direction, and speed very well and is a threat to score anytime he is in the open.
Some of these moves are just downright “nasty”. This young man is talented and no doubt will shine in 2016 and have a shot we believe to move on to college. College Coaches take note- this guy is for real!
Have a look at Caleb Perry who we believe will be at the NW Stars Camp with other Kings standouts like Freshmen sensation Qb Joe Green, brother of star QB Billy Green who is now at Weber State playing. We hope you join us at camp this Saturday – check out NW Stars Camp and get there Saturday to be seen by over 25 Schools!
