Kyle Hamper Big Part Of Impressive Jesuit Run To The Title

This guy, Jesuit Linebacker-Slot Kyle Hamper, according to athletes who faced him was the best they saw.  No higher compliment can be paid to an athlete then that.  The 6’2″- 215 lb Senior was at the center of so many big plays for the undefeated crusaders this season it was hard to realize.  He brought a terrific combination of speed, power, finesse, and skill to the field and was equally effective on both sides of the ball.

Kyle Hamper

In Jesuit’s power game on offense he had a wide array of plays that made an argument for him to move on as an offensive talent into college.  But it is defense where a kid like this can shine and we think that is where he will end up.  Because he can move so well and anticipate opposing offenses he is best used where he can see plays coming at him and defend them.  That line-backer spot sure appears to be his calling.

He is on the NWPR ALL NW Top 200 List as well.

As the Crusaders celebrated their perfect season and the Oregon 6A Title win over West Linn we saw Hamper finally let down his guard and celebrate.  The guy had quite a year as a major leader on the best team in the State and handled his business with a laser focus.  One of the very best 2 -way athletes in the State and a top recruit in the Pacific NW Hamper would be a great guy to recruit in our opinion.  Again regardless of the level Kyle Hamper will compete and contribute!
