Mason Friedline Posts 2nd Major As Dawgs Move In

One of the hottest linemen in the Region just got a little hotter pulling in an offer he really wanted today from his home town Huskies. And it really has him pumped up!

Suffice it to say that the Kings High School big man, Mason Friedline, had a big week. It started with an offer from the Colorado Buffalos getting up out of the legions of top linemen this year as one of the first to gain a major offer.

At his meeting he had today at the U of W Mason had an equally good if not better thing happen. He met with the staff today with his Father in tow and left with the offer.

“We spent about 1 1/2 hours with Coach Dan Cozetto and had a great session. He asked questions and so did we. It was informative and really helpful,” said Friedline. “That was followed by a nice meeting with Coach Sark and he made the offer.”

The Dawgs see Mason as a Center or Guard but told him every linemen comes in and is used in different ways in the attempt to find the right fit. And he is comfortable with playing any of the O’Line spots.

“I am going to follow this up with a visit there as Spring ball gets going and take in their next Junior day too. From their we will just have to see what happens. But there can be no doubt that this was big for me.”

Mason Friedline Gained his 2nd major offer today and is on the rise now!

"We spent about 1 1/2 hours with Coach Dan Cozetto and had a great session. He asked questions and so did we. It was informative and really helpful," said Friedline. "That was followed by a nice meeting with Coach Sark and he made the offer."

The Dawgs see Mason as a Center or Guard but told him every linemen comes in and is used in different ways in the attempt to find the right fit. And he is comfortable with playing any of the O'Line spots.

"I am going to follow this up with a visit there as Spring ball gets going and take in their next Junior day too. From their we will just have to see what happens. But there can be no doubt that this was big for me."

With Colorado and the U of W in hand now he looks ahead differently. There may be less running around then there was going to be initially. But there is still some pressure.

"I want to be considered one of the best. And there will not be any days off or laying around. But maybe with these offers in hand it is time to re-evaluate some of our plans and hit a few bigger events but maybe not quite as many," he concluded.
