Miraculous Montana Wins On ESPN and Gavin Crow Commits

You would not have to look too far to see post after post on Social Media tonight to find post after post about the Montana Grizzlies (#12 in the Nation) upsetting North Dakota State University (#1 in the Nation) 38-35 as time ran up.  The atmosphere in Missoula, Montana is amazing to start with.  Mix in Grizzly Football, ESPN, and the crazed fans and you have the Nexus of the FCS Division 1 AA universe.

Today as the closing moments wrapped up and the fans went wild there were several recruits watching from the 2016 class.  One of them was Gavin Crow of Kamiakin High School.   Gavin is a big time defensive back (6’1″-190 lbs) and on the NWPR ALL NW Top 200 prospect watch list. We have featured him a couple of times at NWPR and developed a good relationship with this young gun.

Here is what the pre-game looked like as posted by Darren Crow, Gavin’s Father.  Imagine if this was pregame and how that felt- what must have things felt like when that miraculous finish happened.  It’s a recruiters dream!

Witnessed one of the greatest college football games I have ever watched yesterday. Montana’s go ahead touchdown with 2 seconds to spare against #1 North Dakota State is a moment to remember!!! Great football town!!! Couldn’t have asked for better seats;)

The moment was right and Gavin Crow took his shot and made it count.  He is now verbally committed to the University of Montana and we could not be happier for him!  Big wins early in a season really helps recruiting.  Montana grabbed up the commitment of one of the best recruits in the Class of 2016~

Enjoy the Final Moments- great Video!
