10 days ago the Avery Strong NW Stars Football Camp went down in Seattle the boys of Fall came out. The 3rd year camp brought almost 35o prospects from around the Pacific NW to the showcase event where 20 colleges showed up to have a close look at some unsigned Seniors and a great group of underclassmen.
Northwest Prep Report joined Northwest Elite Index in providing camp coverage before and after the event. We completed 42 interviews, 1,287 pictures, and will be covering top performers the next two weeks. We saw some familiar names show up and show out as well as meeting some newcomers who stole the show. All in all the athletes and coaches showed up and laid down a tremendous camp. While is rained all day and was a cool 43 degrees the work got done and many athletes left with contacts and options for their futures.
HERE IS PART 4- 11 MORE BIG TIME STAND OUTS AT THE AVERY STRONG NW STARS CAMP putting our coverage of the big camp at 41 Individuals specifically covered.
Alika Sarono of Central Kitsap (WA) continues to show excellent size and skill and was one of the best Seniors at the Camp. We feel strongly that anywhere he goes he will evolve into one of the best players on the team.
Senior Benjamin Gaoteote of Kennedy Catholic (WA) showed up and did a superb job all day as a QB and he showed size and power to boot – clearly he is an athlete who offers much to schools on both sides of the Football.
Corey Sampson showed up and had a terrific day as a Safety / DB. The Ranier Beach (WA) Standout should have some options to move on to a 4 year school or JC. Another great Senior at Camp showing the “Beach” is deep as always.
One thing we already know is that the Class of 2020 is a loaded one. Ferndale (WA) star Freshmen has a massive and powerful frame. Geirean Hatchett is a TE/DE at 6’4″- 250 lbs that can move and who has tremendous upside. It is likely this young man hits 6’6″-6’7″ and could play 3 positions. Provided he can move like the big time kids do going into his Senior Year his future is at the Nations premier schools.
Alejandro Garcia came in an unknown but this Woodburn (OR) Senior showed just terrific length and speed at the Safety position. He is a likeable kid who battles and works through each down and he inspired the players around him.
Luke Ross had a stellar year at Sumner (WA) HS leading his team to one of the best finishes ever. This year they should be back and this kid with the big arm and a superb football IQ has as much of a shot as any at moving into college as a QB. He looked great all day hitting most of his receivers – last season he went for 2,300 plus hards and 28 TD’s- so we know he has the goods!
Isaiah Eubanks is a 2019 Grad. At 5’10” 180 lbs he already looks like a man ready for the College level. He plays the Safety – DB spot and was one of the great showcase players for me at Camp this year. I will predict based on watching his film that this kid will be a top recruit in his class. We are buying stock in this kid! http://www.hudl.com/video/3/8199712/58261ab611fa7f7f48a0ee70
Caleb Jordan is another 2020 prospect who has broken onto the scene this season and the 6’2″ Jefferson Democrat (OR) QB is going to be a big kid with a big arm. His exposure this off season at camps and clinics is providing him valuable experience in what a top recruit looks and acts like. He is starting look and act like one too and we are two thumbs on this guy!
Jaden Robinson was one of the sleekest and fastest kids there all day and his long arms and 6′ plus frame showed out superbly. His film is not done from last year and what we did see was not highlighted. BUT – this kid appears to be a sleeper recruit out of Auburn – Riverside out of Washington and he is a 2018 prospect! Nice job!
Max Nall is a 2018 QB from Garfield High in Seattle (WA). Good size. Great footwork. Live arm. No wonder Max pumped out 3,000 yards and 29 TD’s and he has a slew of weapons to throw too. This should be a good year for Max and he looked good at the NW Stars Camp.
More Top Campers To Recruit From NW Stars Football Camp
Meridian High (WA) has had some great talent so we are not surprised there is a kid like Simon Burkett there. The 6’3″- 185 lbs QB had himself a great day at Camp and went way up our charts of must see recruits of prospects in the 2018 Class. He should be a 2 or 3 Star athlete right now. He can spin it, has a superb release, and he can RUN! Coaches Here is your Tip- Get to him first. Watch This Film
