Grant Star Grabs Offer #2

Nate Halverson is one of the finest 2 way players in the region. The Grant High General has one year left on the grid-iron and now can take his pick from two great schools when he moves on.

Nate is the younger brother of PSU bound Daniel Halverson and besides being a top rated corner back and running back he is one of the fastest guys in the State of Oregon. That means next week he will be heading to State for a shot at setting some marks and helping the Generals take a shot at the OSAA State Track Title.

As busy as he is Nate always takes time to fill OregonPreps.com in on all of his progress and this week brought some happy news that he had gained his second offer.

"Montana just offered me for Football. That was a nice development," said Halverson.

He probably projects the best at Defensive Back as his speed and agility and tough nosed persona seem to include top end skills on defense. As good as he is though he will probably end up with more offers and some of those will be from bigger schools too.

Time will tell. But we know that from a speed and skill perspective he stands out among a really big group of recruits this year in the Pacific Northwest and we will continue to bring you his developing story.
