While there are many who will try to convince you that other camps are the best the NW Stars Camp is the proven spot for Seniors to get recruited and underclassmen to break out onto the scene. Going into year 3 the NW Stars Camp (NWSTARSCAMP.com) brings together College Coaches and recruits in a unique format where Coaches from colleges ready to make offers get to meet and recruit football players ready to move on. For Seniors this is the #LASTBESTCAMP and each year we have been offers have been made at camp and after camp.
Underclassmen will want to be there too! Last season Brock Wellsfry showed up as a Junior to be and landed offers including a Pac 12 offer right after camp. Camas super stud Mike Matthews was looking to get his name elevated and NWPR and our pals at Northwest Elite Index got him the love he needed in the media – tonight he is all locked in to be a Montana Grizzly! Other underclassmen who have been discovered at camp are McNary HS Kolby Barker (Air Force Commit), Amir Matheney (Olympia-EWU), John Blasco (Stadium- 10 offers), RJ Neslon (Hillsboro- Montana), Brian Greene (Eisenhower – MSU), Taj Hoard (Gonzaga Prep – Offers), Skyler Martin (Skyview – Offers), and the list goes on and on.
Between Ryland Spencer (NEI), Brandon Huffman (Scout). UTR NW, and our team at NWPR we generated hundreds and thousands of HUDL Clicks and Media interactions with articles, film, summary, and Tweets and Texts! Folks this is real and this is a Camp that delivers. I will tell you most of these Camps and events do not deliver and do not have follow up media. The Coaches are at the Camp to find recruits to offer and evaluate talent for the coming years. SO DO NOT BE FOOLED- Be at the first Spring Camp that has consistently delivered.
“The level of exposure that prospects get in just one day is unmatched in the area. If you only go to one camp, it should be NW Stars!” Kolby Barker – Air Force Commit
“To be honest I would not be where I’m at today without the gained exposure at NW Stars. And now I’m committed to Eastern Washington University, the camps a must go for recruits!” Amir Matheney – Eastern Washington Commit
Complete NW Stars Camp 2017 Info
The 3rd Annual Northwest Stars Camp is officially open for registration. This year’s event will take place on February 18th at French Field in Kent, Washington.
This event is for anyone looking to play college football. If you are a graduating senior (2017) looking for a home, underclassman looking to get on college radars (2018, 2019, 2020) or a Junior College athlete needing that last chance, this event is for you. Since this event takes place after signing day, colleges know exactly what they are looking for, and how much money they have to spend.
Every year the NW Stars Camp brings in schools from all over the country for this one-of-a-kind event. Last year we had over 20 schools, some from as far away as Arkansas and New Mexico, anywhere from D2 to NAIA, and even Junior College.
Athletes will go through SAQ (Speed, Agility, Quickness) to show their athletic ability, position specific drills and one-on-ones. There will be a visitation session following the workout for athletes to talk to coaches about going to play for their school.
Media exposure is crucial in recruiting. The NW Stars Camp is co-sponsored by the Northwest’s two most respected sources Northwest Prep Report and Northwest Elite Index. In past years we have also had the likes of Under-The-Radar, Scout.com and Rivals.com, and expect to see them all again in 2017.
