Duck’s Roster Loaded With Kids We Helped

Looking at these Oregon Ducks today as they prepare to play the Kansas State Wildcats in the BCS Fiesta Bowl is special for all of us. For our staff we look at this and remember the first time we covered many of the boys on the Oregon roster way back in High School.

Looking at these Oregon Ducks today as they prepare to play the Kansas State Wildcats in the BCS Fiesta Bowl is special for all of us.   For our staff we look at this and remember the first time we covered many of the boys on the Oregon roster way back in High School.

In a fun look back here are some pics and a comment or two about a few of the boys we helped out along the way on their Road to Eugene.  Look how many of the Ducks impact players are coming straight out of Oregon!  A great thing to see and confirmation that our best kids can play with anyone!

#7  Keanon Lowe-  5’9″- 185 lbs- WR

Jesuit High School- Portland, Or

Keanon Lowe was a 10th grader when he broke out on the scene. His efforts in Track and as an unstoppable 2 way star led him to the Army All American Game which we helped nominate him for!

#15 Colt Lyerla- 6’5″- 255 Pounds – TE

Hillsboro High School,  Hillsboro, Or

Colt Lyerla was a kid from our Home town. We saw in 6th grade and saw a unique ability. That led to legendary feats at Hillsboro High School. To see him on the verge of playing on Sunday's and a Major Bowl game is just awesome. Also a young man that made it to the US Army All American game.

#58 James Euscher- 6’7″- 295- OT

Aloha High School- Aloha, Or

Big James Euscher was a kid we met through our good buddy and O-Line Guru out of Hawaii at the Brian Derby offensive Linemens Camps we ran. James came to 3 camps with his Warrior Team Mates and paired top tier technique with that 6'7" Frame and man he can play!

#31 Oshay Dunmore- 6’2″- 195 Pounds DB

Newport High School – Newport,  Or

I still remember the first time we heard a rumor of this kid at the Oregon Coast who was tearing up the Track, Gym, and Fb Field. We hunted Oshay Dunmore down after a Coach who played against him called and insisted we cover him. We covered Oshay First and he just flew all the way to Oregon where he is a stunning athlete!

#25 Boseko Lokombo  – 6’3″- 233 Linebacker

South Eugene HS- WJ Mouatt HS- British Columbia

Bo Lokomobo came across my radar when my middle son and he met at the Goal Line in a Pile that exploded the Goal Post. He was the most powerful RB I have seen next to Colt Lyerla in HS. He is at the Ducks because of the year he spent in Eugene as a Jr. The young phenom from War Torn Congo-Africa had his first Recruiting talk with us in the parking lot at Canby HS. I will never forget him. Wow is he good!

Liberty High School,  Hillsboro, Oregon

What can you say about a kid that goes to college over the Pro Baseball Draft? Great Kid that's what. An amazing talent and an athlete from Hillsboro like Colt who dominated every sport eh did during high school. Awesome!

This young guy wowed High school Coaches with his speed and agility and natural ability. We covered Taylor for two years from the sidelines and are not surprised at all he is a force for the Ducks! Another great local talent impacting the program.
