It was another steller week in the State of Oregon and this time we saw some numbers that were off the planet. It was another steller week in the State of Oregon and this time we saw some numbers that were off the planet.  Crazy stuff including a tie for the National record by a small town stud at Mckenzie High School.  Come see what our very own Bobby Howard cooked up from last weeks action on Friday Night’s Best!

Friday Night’s Best: The Howard Report

Kamerun Smith QB (Marist) – Smith connected on 23 of 29 passes for 435 yards and 7 TD’s as Marist downed Eagle Point.

Austin Baird and Taylor Walcott WR (Marist) – The two recipients of Kamerun Smith’s big night. Baird a junior hauled in 9 catches for 219 and 3 scores including a 70 yarder. Meanwhile, Walcott was able finish his night with 151 yards on 10 catches with two scores of his own.

Will Totten QB (Mackenzie)– Had a huge night completing 19 of 26 passes for 553 and 10 td’s passes (tied for the national record) he also rushed 15 times for 117 and another score in a thrilling 88-80 victory over Lowell.

Tommy Knetch QB (Lakeridge)– The senior QB Continued his hot start going 14 of 17 for 344 and 2 td’s.

Blake Dutton WR (Lakeridge)- The 6’2” 190 pound Dutton who happens to be Knetch’s favorite target had his most efficient receiving night to date catching 6 balls for 234 yards with two of those catches going for TD’s.

AJ Wienke RB (Centennial) – Weinke a sophomore for the Eagles played like a veteran rushing for 7 scores, unfortunately Centennial came up short against Barlow 70-63.

Josh Schleining QB (Reynolds) – One of the fastest rising Soph. in the State. Schleining completed 34 of 51 passes for 460 yards and six td’s in a loss to Gresham.
