Oregon Prep Football Playoffs – Offers And Review

This week we saw some movement finally in the recruiting scene after a fairly quiet month or so.  A couple of offers developed this week in the State of Oregon as 8 teams battle it out for the final 4 spots with 3 games to go to win a Title.

Just 2 days after running Volume of the Dynamic Dozen , a series of the kids with updated film we think could be next, one of them landed pay dirt grabbing an offer from the Big Sky League.

Central Catholic Center / DT TJ Salu received an offer from Sacramento State; his first offer after a tireless 2 year effort to make that happen.  We caught up to TJ to talk about the big event.

TJ offered when asked how this all developed, “I went down on a unofficial visit last weekend and had an opportunity to meet with all the coaches and see all the facilities and I was really blown away by it all. So tonight the Head Coach, Coach Spears, called me and wanted to let me know that they have a scholarship for me and that they feel I could play 3-4 positions for them on either side of the ball.

TJ Salu now holds an offer from Sacramento State.

It’s such an amazing feeling. The process has been long and is far from over but having a coaching staff believe in me and seeing my hard work pay off is amazing!”

Further South down at Bend’s Summit High School  it was Junior Cam McCormick that made some noise this past week grabbing up offers form Arizona and Boise State.  The 6’5″- 225 lb Tight End, OLB, Defensive prospect is rising the ranks on the West coast quickly and a lot of that is do to his speed;  it is very fast for a kid this size.  We are doing a feature story on Cameron soon and congratulate him on the great news! His film is inserted below for your review.
