Everyone in on edge and the recent hot weather followed by rain and humidity has the Prep Football world on edge.  And it will stay that way until the first kick sends that brown leather bullet into the night sky.  Not much on the recruiting front, polls and predictions are jamming the airwaves and Net and the collective psyche of the US Fan is frazzled.

In these times is is good fun and helpful to clean out the email and FB messages and send a shout out to some darn good football players who are close to NWPR.

Drew Clarkson of Camas, Washington just landed offer #7 from Boise State.  The star linemen is wanting to move up the National Rankings and help lead his team and this offer has him fired up.

Hayden Burris of Kamiakin HS in Tri Cities checked in to let us know things were going great.  The 6'3"- 295lb mauler is waiting for that first offer but oh boy is it out there we think.

An NWPR Alumni checked in to tell us he is runing with the #1's and #2's and that is Oregon Duck and Central Catholic Grad Alex Balducci.  The US Army All American is someone we covered first and often.  He dropped us a line to encourage we continue in our work and thanked us.  Awesome guy!

Liam Talty of Sheldon checked in- "I'm 230 lbs right now. I've been talking a lot to Columbia and I'm still talking with Air Force (offer in)  and Northern Colorado. Also, UC Davis requested my transcript and Eastern Washington has sent me some mail. I think when the season starts I'll talk to some more schools"

The Sheldon High Stud has a bit if an identity crisis because he is so good at everything he does.  He may be the tailback of chocie at Sheldon, a Safety, slot.. one thing is for sure.  Now that Connor Straham is gone Yadie is getting his chance to shine and we think his first offer is on its way soon!

Kilton Anderson was a Co-MVP at the NWEFC at Mercer Island which was the biggest event pf the year! Our story on his resemblance to Sunshine Ronnie Bass is generating Thousands of page shares and views-  the kid has eyes on him for Week 1. Ridge Harmon of Eisenhower checked in to get us his amazing stats from 2012 before he was hurt.  The Yakima, Wash stud receiver had 864 yards and 9 TD's Averaging 16 yards per catch-- all that in 4 games.  Watch out for this guy Coaches!

Deion Singleton- a 4 Star Recruit is at Chiawana and our staff guy out there says "Wow" and "Call The Ducks, Cougs, and Huskies- Beavers too-- keep this guy out West" as the kid is that flipping good!

North Kitsap STUD Linebacker et al ben Birkimer touched base after missing last year to a knee surgery-  He is at Whitworth, made it back to the game, and is living the dream.  he called to thank us as we followed up, stayed in touch, and were there for him!  Go For it Big Ben~!

Sam Mix at Skyline is hearing from lots of schools and has an NAIA option but is planning to play at a higher level if he can.  Kilton Anderson will have a lot of targets but this guy should be the go to man~  Watch him and get after him Coaches.  The kid is legit!
