There is nothing like a powerful Offensive Linemen to get me fired up and in the NW we have our own brand of these cats! This region has long been respected for the toughness and the excellence of the linemen that come from here. A few names from recent years like Andrew Kirkland (Jesuit-UW), Brayden Kearsley (Aloha-OSU), Zach Banner (Lakes-USC) and Joshua Garnett (Puyallup – Stanford) come to mind. These guys were All Americans and D1 top demand recruits.
Next season one of the big time recruits in our view is no doubt Quazzel White of Lincoln High in Tacoma. His film so far this year is showcasing what all the great ones have. A massive lower section that can hinge and release the power of the legs through the hips and this allows him to deliver devastating blows and pancakes. He is a finisher and he likes to put opposing defensive players on their backs.
He uses his body very well and with another year of training this guy have big time offensive guard written all over him. He and the Abes are poised to make a run this season for the Tacoma Dome and have the weapons to win it all. This is a nod to the big man- any recruiters out on the road watching games and looking for a linemen should drop in and watch Big “Q” work.
