We touched on the Brooks PR Indoor Track Meet yesterday and today we are happy to report our kids from the NW really shined. Both girls and boys in the house just rolled besting all but a few kids from around the Nation. Truly our young track stars can fly.
Some PR’s and some records too were set. It was a day where Tatum Taylor of O’Dea, Isaiah Brandt-Sims of Wenatchee, Hannah Cunliffe of Federal Way would all shine landing top scores. Marcus Chambers, and Amy Eloise-Neale both led a star studded pack of Washington and Oregon kids as well.
You can see all the results here.
In the Boys 60 Meter the fastest kids in the Nation battled. Taylor had a 6.63 which was the second fastest time in HS history and Brandt-Sims had a 6.64 putting him in a tie for 3rd all time. Both boys barely lost to Cameron Burrell of Texas in a Race you have to watch more then once to believe.

Imagine NW Track fans are going to get to see Taylor and Brandt-Sims battle this year in the NW outdoors in what promises to be State record setting territory.
In the girls 60 Meter the drama was just as high with Federal Way speedster Hannah Cunliffe and University, Washington’s Kennadi Bouyer showing they had what it took to be top 4 in the Nation. Watch this race because Cunliffe was leading and looked like the winner until the last steps. This is just amazing speed right here.
