Running Back Aki Howell Getting It Done For Everett

Last Summer was a great time to see rising talent and running back Aki Howell of Everett High School in Washington was a kid that stood out big time.  At the RDAF showcase camp he jumped up on our radar making spin moves and showing a quick burst for sure.  He was a top camp performer and his name was placed on the all camp list.

From there, like all kids, he needed to show that his out of pads accomplishments translated onto the field.  In pads is a different story for athletes as vision and mobility are challenged by the gear and those 11 guys on the other side of the field are going to provide some serious resistance.  Doing your job is just a little bit tougher.

In his mid-season film below (we are telling you all to get this out) he looks superb.  His speed and nasty stop and go moves are breaking ankles all over the field.  He lines up as a wildcat back taking direct snaps and powering them over the middle.  He is also featured in the slot and makes some nifty moves there too.  Aki has provided a nice piece of film here that showcases top tier talent.  College Coaches should certainly pay attention to this young man and be on him recruiting wise!
