Ryan Nall landed a Pac 12 offer and that came after he was scene directly by coaches doing what he does best- playing football.

Ryan Nall Grows Into Role Of Pac 12 Prospect

You could see it coming if you followed the Central Catholic Rams the past couple of years.  Ryan Nall was going to have the "Stuff" that college coaches like; check that the stuff they love.  The 2014 prospect was impressive in his Junior season and showed up as a top prospect in the Region by mid-year.

The kid had speed, power, a nose of the football, intensity, and smarts.  Add in coaching which he certainly has at Central Catholic and we all knew he was moving on to college after High School.  The question was what level?

At 6'3" and 230 pounds Nall has grown, added size, and still has room to go.  That and some great work on he field helped him land offers from Northern Colorado and Portland State.  The Fullback and Defensive End had to be happy about that.  But he was not finished there.

Oregon State saw him at the Northwest Elite Football Camp June 7th and were paying attention.  Nall was heating up.

"Coach Pyne (Head CC Coach) kept telling me to wait it out and it will come.  When I went down to their (OSU) camp they liked me and called the next morning to offer me," said Nall.  "I was very excited."

With his brother Jacob at PSU playing football the family knew he could end up there.  While that was a great option Ryan was hoping for the Pac-12.

"It was always my goal to be playing on TV in the Pac-12 and now I finally have that opportunity."

Is Oregon State a place this guy could himself?

"I like that it's close to home! And that they have a nice campus with great academics as well!  Plus they are a great football program that I can see my self excelling in!"

Nall can be a sped rush defensive end, linebacker, or full back.  Like most kids we have to wait and see how much he grows.  One thing is for sure.  The Oregon State defense known for developing talent will make this guy into something special.

Ryan says he may very well decide before the season comes on where he will spend his collegiate years.  He has certainly grown into the role of a Pac 12 prospect and we look forward to seeing him compete!
