Sam Riddle of Century High School Is Rising Fast as The #1 QB in The Region In 2012The Century High Jaguar football squad is rolling this season. They are now 4-1 after a win over Forest Grove last Friday. And they did it without QB Sam Riddle. The 6'2"-200 Pounds QB was sidelined in week 4 against Tigard taking a late helmet to helmet hit.
That hurt him bad enough that he was sidelined with a concussion. He passed his ImPACT Test equal or greater to his Baseline Test and is symptom free. The guidelines call for him to sit a week and then come back. That should happen hopefully Friday.
He is still the #1 QB in terms of yardage in the 6A and #2 overall in the State even though he missed a game. Pretty amazing numbers too.
- 1,363 yards total
- 19 Passing TD's
- 2 Ints
- 13.5 yards per catch average
- 69% completion ratio
- 165 yards rushing on 30 carries
- 1 rushing TD
He has a powerful arm, throws a great ball, and makes terrific reads. There is no doubt that his combination of size and speed as well as his skill set has him sitting pretty as a top prospect. Sam is the best QB in the region without an offer so far.
Here is his 4 game highlight to help prove that point.
