Shane Bowman Becomes a Beaver

He led the State of Washington in Sacks last year and is looking to improve upon that this season.  Shane Bowman is also about 40 pounds heavier and looking to take a run at yet another State Championship.

After High School Shane will play college football on his way to a Sports Medicine degree and he decided this last week where that would be at.

Shane Bowman of Bellevue was great at DE at the NWEFC and OSU was loving it. They invited him to a Junior day camp and offered him giving him his 5th offer and first PAC 12.

Shane Bowman of Bellevue was great at DE at the NWEFC and OSU was loving it. They invited him to a Junior day camp and offered him giving him his 5th offer and first PAC 12.

“I am going to be an OSU Beaver,” said Bowman by text as he made his decision.

He had eluded to that in an earlier story we wrote as he landed the Pac 12 offer.  OSU is known for the attacking style of defense that Shane is designed to play from the edge and in their system he can develop and spread his wings.  With a handful of offers already he decided it was time and that waiting made no sense.

He talked with our partners at BeaverBlitz.com and had this to say, “I called Coach Riley and told him that I think Oregon State is the perfect fit for me and my family and that I wanted to commit”

Shane will be calling us for a more in-depth story and we send our congrats to he and his Family on making such a great selection and having it out of the way ahead of the season!
