Sheldon’s Zac Diehl A Top Safety Posts 10 Play Highlight

Sheldon’s Zac Diehl A Top Safety Posts 10 Play Highlight

The Sheldon Irish seem to put together a talented high school football team every year and this past year was no departure from that.  They made the semi-finals again before falling to undefeated State Champs Jesuit.  One of the standouts from last years Irish team was Zach Diehl.  The 6’1″- 195 lb Safety laid out 52 tackles last season and broke up countless pass plays on his way to 5 interceptions.

Zach Diehl 550

That was enough to earn him 1st Team All League Honors and a spot on our upcoming list of Top Prospects for 2017.  Zach is a hard hitter and a fundamentally sound player.  He has a great football IQ and flows to the ball very well- strong on both run support and pass coverage.  He has a nice frame, size, and speed for the safety spot and will not doubt generate some recruiting interest as the pre-season rolls along!

Catch Zach Diehl of Sheldon High in Eugene, Oregon on his 10 play super-highlight below!  Great job Zach!
