Boy what a year 2013 was for Northwest high school football. In the opening weekend we caught 4 or 5 games and traveled to the UW to catch the Emerald City Classic. We saw 4 games back to back and tonight as we looked back at some old pictures of one of the marquis games it struck us that this was a game so loaded with talent that we just had to share some of these great pics we grabbed. One of those match ups was Skyline vs Bellevue.
Budda Baker of Bellevue was there scoring a TD under the UW Huskies sign and now he is signed to play for them. Kilton Anderson was there in his first start for Skyline and the now Fresno State Bulldog was working hard to get every yard. They all were.
When these two Titans – Skyline Spartans and The Bellevue Wolverines meet- well it is always a hard hitting affair!
Looking at what we caught through that lens we decided to post some of the pics one more time for the boys of Fall. Those that are done and those coming back might all enjoy these. You will see Skyline’s Cameron Saffle, Derek Loville, Blake Gregory, Rashaad Boddie, and others all in action who will all be back leading the squad this season. For Bellevue the boys are back including Justus Rogers, Ross Connors, Mustafa Branch, Henry Roberts, and Ryan Bowman just to name a few. These two teams from the 4A and 3A Division of Washington could take on most teams most nights and walk off a winner.
Truly great programs and tonight we remember these boys and thank them for a great evening back in 2013.
