Blake Gregory led Skyline last year in a big way putting up huge numbers and silencing those that thought he might not be the guy.  The Spartans of Sammamish (WA) had a good season and while they did not return to their Championship ways of the past they showed signs of improvement.  Gregory played his heart out and improved drastically his Junior year posting 21 TD’s and 2,111 yards on his way to a 2nd Team all League nomination.

Now in the off season he has impressed and picked up some MVP awards at various showcase events.  His throwing motion is better and he has trained with Taylor Barton of Barton Football in the past month or so.

“He is really coming along,” said Barton.  “Blake has improved mechanically and is looking better every time I see him.”

This season he will have a host of talent joining him in the class of 2016 for Skyline.  Led by D-1 RB prospect Rashaad  Boddie the Spartans will have a superb ground game.  That will let Gregory and his receiver core take to the air.  His best asset is his ability to put a nice touch on the ball and have it arrive in the right space at the right time.  He has shown a variety of skills; all of which we like.
