Oregon Playoffs: Seniors Who Should be On any Coaches Wish List for X-mas.

Lake Oswego and Central Catholic

Lake Oswego:

  • Alex Matthews:  The 6’2″, 200 Pound stud is so efficient and so accurate.  He continues to shine and lead the Lakers.  Big news for him this week was that PENN of the Ivy League is extending him a nice offer which he could take.  Utah, Penn, Wyoming, Montana State, and Vanderbilt are all Calling.  Great numbers, size, and skill for a D-1 or D-1 AA QB.
  • Zach Walen:  The 6’3″, 210 pound hitter has flat out gotten it done.  He is one of the most skilled linebackers we have seen in the entire region and has great hands and instincts.  His NFL Dad tells you he comes by it honestly.  PSU, EWU, Dartmouth, and San Diego State have all offered him this past week but he could go higher.
  • Steven Long:  He has a Portland State Verbal and that may be the best fit for him.  But he has done so much and proven why he is high on so many lists.
  • Stevie Coury:  Stevie may be lacking in size to go to the highest level but he is more then capable of compensating for that with his pure athleticism and routes and hands.  He would be a great find for any school.
  • Turner Young:  Motor, Motor, Motor.  This guy never stops as an Oline or Dlin.  Anywhere form D3 to D-1AA should be on him.
  • Grant Taylor:  This All around star is the comeback player of the year.  He does a great job as a back but has a nose for defense.  He will only get bigger and stronger as time goes along.
  • Harrison Greenberg: Kicker   We have spoken about him all year.  Almost perfect on his PAT’s and about 80% of all his kickoffs go to the end zone.  He is a Collegiate Kicker All Day!
Central Catholic: Alex Balducci is Gone to the Ducks
  • Hayward Demison:  The 6’1″, 185 pound miracle-man is rising fast.  700 yards and 8 TD’s the past 3 weeks tell you that.  He is just starting to show the potential he holds.  This is a terrific kid and he could play at the highest levels.  Coaches this is a major Blue Chip kid so you need to look close.
  • Ben Cook:  QB-  We like Ben and think he can develop further.  His future could include Football with hard work and dedication and he is one to look close at.
  • Louis Pinder:  5’11″180:  This young man is one of the best WR in the State especially the second half of the season.  He makes things happen.
  • Jacob Nall:  The 6’4″, 235 pound Nall is so tough and agressive.  A PSU commit.  But the way he is playing his name is still being passed around a bit.
  • Tyler Nagae:  5’11”, 250:  This tough as nails kid is a perfect fit for the D-3 or NAIA level and we think would never give up a down as an interior linemen or NT.  The essence of HS football.
  • Tye Collier:   Tye Collier was the #1 lock down corner in the region during Summer and he certainly not dis-proven that.  The size, skill, and speed you want in a D-1 Athlete with a terrific demeanor.  Tye is sitting here for the taking!
  • Mitch Seely– K.   Terrific Kicker.  He will play at the next level if he wants too.
