“FAST, QUICK & EXPLOSIVE…3 of the 4 Top Performers at the Hawaii Football Combine this Saturday were IKEI WARRIORS out of 350 football athletes from across the state. A big shout out to these BEASTS who earned Top Performance Honors:
40-Yard – 4.57 Kai Kaneshiro, DB, St Louis, 2018
Vertical Jump – 36” Justin Uahinui, QB, Farrington, 2017
Shuttle – 3.93 Micah Kalei, WR, St Francis, 2017

So proud of my of all my IKEI WARRIORS that went out and competed this weekend. All that effort put into the GRIND everyday and competing with each other every workout helped push yourselves to be better and I’m truly honored to be a part of your lives and watch you all grow into amazing young men. Looking forward to watching you all showcase your skills to college coaches at the GPA FOOTBALL COLLEGE SHOWCASE CAMP…keep working to separate yourselves from the rest and see you all when I get back from AZ…love you guys and so proud of you all ‪#‎ikeiallday‬‪#‎thegrindneverstops‬

Good numbers overall.  The best part about this is that the 40 yard times are electronic.  Way too many, in fact the majority, of the combines in the US use hand times and the electronic timers are just mush more accurate.  They add about .20 of a second so a 4.5 laser time is about a 4.3 on the stop watch time.  We rarely see a 4.4 time on the lasers- these are good times overall.

Shout out to all who went and battled it out!
