We have covered and known Harley Kirsch from Eastside Catholic for 4 years now and his run as a top QB in the Pacific NW and beyond has been spectacular. Every night that he straps that helmet on he does one thing for his team. He wins!
The cerebral QB has committed to Cornell and had recruiting love from bigger schools before putting his team first. He shut down his recruiting more or less late last season. That led to a State Championship in 2014 for the Crusaders as the team defeated Bellevue in the Washington 3A State Title Game. The Crusaders are the only NW Team in the VYPE National Top 100 High School Ranking led by legendary analyst Dallas Jackson.
As things stand right now they have not been beaten since they played on National TV at the end of last season is Florida against top rated Trinity Christian.
This last week Kirsch did something only a handful of high school Quarterbacks have ever done. He connected for his 100th career touchdown. That was enough for us to jump up and shout “Hell Yeah” and grab a copy of the game film to share with you all. Harley and the Eastside crew are heading into the playoffs soon and will have some stiff competition from several schools vying for the Golden Ball trophy- this is going to be a fun post season!
Here is his film- and Harley just keep doing what you do. It is our opinion that bigger schools are missing out on a Mariota type find here but there is still time to go after him. Just because he is not looking for offers does not mean he would not look hard at them. Best of luck to all our Friday Night athletes, their Coaches, and families in the post season!
