Last winter as a junior Thomas led the Columbia Basin Big Nine league in scoring at 21.3 points a contest.   The slick dynamo was a 1st team all-conference selection following his fantastic Junior campaign.  The get after it lock down defender was also a 1st team all league defensive choice.
Flash forward to this year and Thomas is up to his old tricks, zipping and zagging his way through big nine opponents.
Thomas is averaging over 22 points a game and more importantly has his red hot Wildcats sitting and 12-2 on the season. Eastmont was ranked 8th in the latest 4A Associated Press poll.
 Wow!
Does this kid do anything else for fun you might ask?  He isn’t too shabby on the gridiron either.
Thomas started for the Cats at wide receiver and corner back as a sophomore.  The nifty lightning rod earned 2nd team all league honors at defensive back.
He skipped his junior season of football to concentrate on hoops before returning for his senior season.  The young blazer did not disappoint.  He led the Wildcats in receiving and was selected 1st team all conference at both wideout and defensive back.
Young Mr. Thomas is starting to get some attention from colleges.   He carries a tidy 3.1 grade point average and is looking for the right school to help elevate his basketball career.  We will follow up on his story and more as the hoops season continues to move on.
