Eric Lemke us one tough customer and he committed today to Idaho and will be a Vandal next year.

WashingtonPreps.com is proud to once again bring you news of two of our Top NW Athletes making it on the collegiate level. Both of these guys deserved it and worked so very hard to get these opportunities.

The first to commit was big wide receiver Trent Sewell from Bothell who had a host of schools looking at him this past year and came close to garnering big time offers. But on a trip this past weekend to Wyoming he decided to commit to the Cowboys where he should be a great fit. He really should.

The Cowboys feature true freshmen All American Brett Smith at Quarterback who came out of Oregon’s West Salem High School last season. Smith is a guy who will love having Sewell as a target as he is a terrific route runner and can physically dominate guys in the secondary.

A little after that commitment came a message from Eric Lemke of Issaquah High who was letting us know he had in fact locked down his commitment to Idaho. The Vandals have a really nice atmosphere and Eric at 6’3″, and 245 pounds will have a shot to start early.

Lemke was an All League selection and one of the top rated athletes in the WashingtonPreps.com Top 100 Prospect List this past season. He is explosive and very fast for such a big man and yet has a soft set of hands.

Trent Sewell is a special athlete for sure and one of the biggest WR targets in the Region. Boy can he play!

Terrific job indeed by both of these young men out of the Seattle area where they truly earned a name for themselves these past few years.

We wish to wish them all the best and thank them for the great job they have done representing the State of Washington.
