The Central Valley Conference looks like they will have two of the top four receivers in the Oregon next season. It just so happens they both will be playing quarterback.
West Salem’s, “do it all kid” Brenden Shaffer (6-2 190 QB/WR/DB/KR Jr.) is one of the most dangerous athletes in the state anytime he has the ball in his hands.
Last season he torched the state both as a receiver and a kick returner leading in multiple statistical categories. (14 Total Td’s; 751 yds Rec, 42 catches, 12 rec Tds, 17.9 ypc).
Shaffer broke in to the Oregon Preps Top 100 list at No. 24 and has already bumped himself up a few notches. His nose for the football puts him in the mix anytime he’s on the field.
His last visit to the Barton 7 on at Oregon State was very impressive as he caught multiple touchdowns with a few interceptions.
